My thoughts exactly. I'm not the biggest Phil Jackson fan. Among many reasons, I find him preposterous, patronizing and hypocritical. Here's an excellent example.

he has some lame-ass, poorly-written article in men's journal this month documenting his love affair with motorcycles. in it, there's this picture of him on the beach standing there trying look tough with an open tropical shirt exposing his bare chest. gross. button up, gramps.
Arrogant, pretentious opportunist. Thanks to having Jordan/Pippen/Shaq/Kobe, Jackson has been made out to be some kind of warrior poet guru. He's just a good coach who likes to read and sometimes sports a soul patch. Red Auerbach kicks his ass anyday of the week.
